Bill Clinton Does A Propaganda Video For Hillary

1 comment May 15th, 2007

Now making the rounds on YouTube, Hillary Clinton’s political strategist-in-chief, and also husband, has done the voice -over on a propaganda piece testifying to the exceptional merit of his wife. Some people may actually consider Bill Clinton an “objective” reference on the qualities of Hillary Clinton and her suitability for the presidency. However, more sophisticated observers will derive a differenet finding from this video.

Bill Clinton is reading lines, put together by skilled script writers. In effect, the 42nd president is fulfilling the role of an actor, in a purely theatrical and contrived piece of propaganda. Even the soft, mellow background music has a manufactured quality about it. The gist of the propaganda message is this: Hillary Clinton is the most qualified presidential candidate because she has devoted her life to serving the poor and women, sacrificing financial gain, and besides, the whole world loves and respects her.

Alright, time out. When Hillary Clinton gladly accepted an eight million dollar publisher’s advance for her supposed memoirs, which were actually ghost-written by a team of writers, was that an example of Senator Clinton forgoing more lucrative opportunities in the furtherance of her commitment to public service? Or, when she apparently took advantage of her husband being Governor of Arkansas in receiving help from a “freind” of the family, to help her gain a 10,000 percent profit on her commodity futures investment in only ten months, was this another example of her public service creedo, and we can just discount that this family friend was tied to a major company receiving favorable consideration from Governor Bill Clinton?

Of course, I am confusing things with logic. On the other hand, Bill Clinton’s pro-Hillary video is a well-orchestrated effort by the Clinton political machine to muddy the waters of thoughful reason, hoping as many Amercians as are required for Hillary Clinton’s election to the presidency will forfeit reason and be driven to the polls by superficiality.

The balderdash that emanated from the Bill Clinton propaganda video merely hints at the theatrics American voters will be subjected to over the next 18 months.
