Clinton Clutter While Bush Stutters

2 comments May 31st, 2007

I have a nightmare that goes like this. Bush continues to stutter, convincing even many Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton. She is elected to two terms, and America ends up in even worse shape. After Hillary “retires,” the desperate Republicans convince the brother of our current president, Jeb Bush, to run for the presidency in 2016. He serves two terms, but things continue to go downhill for America. So who do the Democrats nominate to run for the presidency in 2024? Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Bill and Hillary.

Couldn’t happen, you say? Not in America? No way, Jose? Well, the past is frequently a reliable predictor of the future. So, let’s see, George Bush senior serves two terms as vice president, and in 1988 is elected to the presidency, only to be defeated in 1992 by Bill Clinton, who serves two terms and soils one intern’s blue dress. He is followed by the son of Bush 41, George W. Bush, who serves two terms and launches a disastrous war. Due to his unpopularity, Hillary Rodham Clinton, wife of Clinton 42, is the front-runner to be elected the nation’s 44th president.

Maybe it’s time we cleaned up this Clinton clutter, and pruned the Bushes, before the nation is totally submerged by the mess it is in.

What, Hillary Clinton Not Always Truthful?

2 comments May 30th, 2007

New Hillary Clinton biographies due out, based on sneak previews, apparently will offer the amazing insight that Hillary Rodham Clinton sometimes plays fast with the truth. Well, bless our souls, what a surprise! Years of research, multitudes of personal interviews, and tons of worn shoe leather, and some high-priced journalists compile insights about Senator Clinton that a significant proportion of the American people already knew by instinct.

For a different kind of book, try my own, “Hillary Clinton Nude:Naked Ambition, Hillary Clinton And America’s Demise.” This book seeks to go beyond recognizing that Hillary Clinton, like Bill Clinton, is duplicitous and manipulative, and try to put these character “traits” of Hillary’s into context, in terms of whether or not she is qualified to be president and commander-in-chief.

The dialogue on Hillary Clinton needs to move beyond the issue of her not always being truthful, and advance into the crucial area of what attributes are required in the next president, especially in light of the damage done by the current White House occupant, and how Hillary Clinton fits those requirements.

My own view, elaborated on in “Hillary Clinton Nude,” is that beyond her impressive skills in obfuscation and political manipulation, Hillary Clinton offers nothing that even faintly corresponds to leadership excellence. As for her boast that she is the most qualified person in America to become president, well, that is just another example of Mrs. Clinton being slippery with the truth.

Memorial Day And Bad Politicians

2 comments May 27th, 2007

Today on the CBS “60 Minutes” news show there was presented a poignant and moving account of the two-year deployment by a unit from the Iowa National Guard. What struck me most about the presentation was how dichotomized America has become under the rule of bad politicians. On the one hand, we have the heroic volunteers who go courageously and without complaint off to war, supported by their equally patriotic and self-sacrificing families. Then, in sharp and often ugly contrast, are the politicians who sent these admirable men and also many women off to a war so friviously and ineptly constructed. Every American with a moral conscience should reflect on the fact that a tiny minority of volunteers and their families are dying and sacrificing for their country due to political malfeasance, while many citizens are enjoying shopping with their tax cuts, financed by driving the nation deeper into debt.

The quality of the national guardsmen and their families shined very brightly in that “60 Minutes” presentation, but the darkness of the bad politicians who have demanded this unfair sacrifice hung over the account with the all-consuming darkness of a torrential thunderstorm. These flawed politicians come from both dominating political parties. George W. Bush and what I describe in my book, “Hillary Clinton Nude,” as a clique of bloodthirsty non-combatants, meaning the neocons, are the architects of the Iraq calamity that is consuming so many of the most patriotic Americans as though they were cannon fodder. However, it must be recalled that many Democrats joined with the Republicans in Congress to grant George W. Bush the power to launch an unprovoked attack on Iraq without a congressional declaration of war, violating what was mandated in the Amercian constitution by the founding fathers. Foremost among these bad politicians was Hillary Rodham Clinton, who I maintain voted for the war based solely on narrow and selfish political calculation.

This memorial day, as Senator Clinton repositions herself as the anti-war candidate, let us reflect on the most recent sacrifices made by the small fraction of America’s population that has volunteered to fight the nation’s wars. Let us also reflect on the ways and means of best honoring their sacrifice, including the necessity that the next commander-in-chief be a person of honor and integrity, and not political expediency.

New Hillary Clinton Biography Exposes Hillary Preparation On Iraq War Vote

2 comments May 26th, 2007

A couple of new Hillary Clinton books will soon be published, joining many others, including my own book, “Hillary Clinton Nude.” Though not yet due for publication, copies of these new books have been leaked to The Washington Post. One of the books alleges that Hillary Clinton never bothered to read the National Intelligence Estimate prior to voting to authorize Bush’s war in Iraq. The NIE raised serious doubts about Bush’s rationalization for the war and its consequences.

While interesting, this revelation is hardly surprising. In “Hillary Clinton Nude,” I devote a chapter to analyzing Hillary Clinton and her vote for the war, as well as her vacillations that followed. To tell the truth, I would have been shocked if Hillary Clinton had bothered to read the NIE, or any serious scholarly papers warning about the dangers and fallacies of this war of choice. My view, elaborated on in my book, is that Hillary Clinton based her vote in support of authorizing Bush to attack Iraq, without provocation, solely on her perceived political self-interest. Senator Clinton was far more interested in polling data than the NIE in rendering her decision. For that same reason, her latest Senate vote against funding the war she originally supported must also be seen as an example of Hillary’s political expediency.

One salient fact remains a mystery to me. How could a politician who voted in such a disastrous manner, as well as coldly-calculating way in support of the Iraq war, today be the clear front-runner for succeeding George W. Bush in the White House? The answer to that question may be too painful for the American people to endure.

Just Hillary, Or Bill Clinton Also?

Just Hillary? Is the Clinton 2008 presidential campaign all about her? Perhaps it is just as much about Bill Clinton than just Hillary.

Recently, the tightly controlled Clinton political machine has been leaking “news” to the media that Hillary is fully in charge of her presidential drive, and has been controlling and limiting Bill’s involvement in the campaign. It has even been suggested to the gullible media that Bill Clinton’s charitable commitments will restrict his active participation in Hillary presidential drive!

I, for one, am not falling for this absurdity. As I maintain in my book, “Hillary Clinton Nude,” Senator Clinton is so calculating, it is highly plausible that she knowingly put up with her husband’s sexcapades, in exchange for his expert political guidance in sending her back to the White House as president. So, if one accepts my premise, Bill Clinton is a critical player and strategist on the 2008 Hillary presidential bandwagon.

Now, we come to Bill Clinton’s motivation in helping Hillary. You can believe his recent campaign video, where he claims that he is supporting his wife because she is supposedly the best qualified candidate to succeed George W. Bush. I would offer another rationale. Given Bill Clinton’s selfish and narcisistic persona, he is probably acting out of self-interest. If his advice brings Hillary to the White House as president, it stands to reason she will continue to look to him as her chief advisor in setting the agenda for a second Clinton administration. Which means Bill Clinton gets to rule the country again, vicariously through Hillary. So, this is not just about Hillary. It’s about Bill getting even with the Republicans for the Monicagate investigations. And in a larger context, it is about America getting royally screwed, once again, by the Clintons.

What The Early Primaries Mean For Clinton Campaign

2 comments May 22nd, 2007

The primary system is essential for the monopoly that the two major political parties in America maintain on the control of the nation’s government. The long, drawn out season of primaries lull the American people into internalizing the Democratic and Republican parties as the only choices worth reflecting on. In 2008, a radical change is occuring with the schedule of the presidential primaries, with the Clinton machine likely a key player behind the scenes in facilitating this development.

Essentially, a large proportion of delegates from major states will be selected in a relatively short period, during the first two months of 2008. For Hillary Clinton, this is a major component of her campaign plan for electoral victory in November 2008.

If things work out as Hillary thinks they will, her massive lead in collecting key political endorsements, combined with successfully recruiting the best political talent money can buy, will translate into facts on the ground that will make it likely that Senator Clinton will win the lion’s share of the major primaries being front-loaded in early 2008. Net result is that she is the virtual winner of the Democrat presidential nominating process, months before the nominating convention in the summer. This time interval will involve what I see as another major element in Hillary Clinton’s master campaign plan. Let’s call it, “Operation Scandal.”

I expect that starting in the Spring of 2008, the Democrats will use their control of Congress to unleash a series of investigations that will so taint the Republican Party with scandal, no G.O.P. nominee will have a snowball’s chance in hell of defeating Hillary Clinton. The investigations currently underway in Washington are just the planting of seeds in preparation for a blistering harvest of Bush-destroying headlines that will subsume America throughout America in 2008. The Republican presidential candidates all seem to know this, which is why in the initial candidates debate, they are all praising Ronald Reagan, while acting as though George W. Bush, and even George Bush senior, don’t exist. It is all rather pathetic, yet understandable, given the pall of gloom that reason forces senior Republicans to comprehend.

Will Hillary’s plan work? Unless there is a credible third party challenge to Hillary Clinton, America will see a second Clinton presidency, and then God help the Republic.

Hillary Shops Wal-Mart

The New York Times reports about the hidden history of Hillary Clinton’s corporate involvement. Specifically, she served for six years as the first woman appointed to the board of directors of Wal-Mart. What is most interesting about the news story is the revelation that Hillary Clinton, who proclaims herself as the great guardian of the American worker, was in fact supportive of anti-union policies adopted by Wal-Mart.

Two-faced? Yes, but also so typical of the Clintons, both Hillary and Bill. While campaigning for president on a platform of saving the middle-class and working poor from the Republicans, in the absence of T.V. cameras and microphones Senator Clinton is intimately courting the most affluent of tycoons, to invest in her campaign. So, if she makes it into the White House, what will have the most influence on a future Hillary Clinton adminstration? Will it be her promises to the less-well-off, or those who gave the big bucks to pay for her public relations and advertising blitz? You only get one guess.

You Can Have Hillary Clinton As Your President For A Song

3 comments May 17th, 2007

I argue in my book, “Hillary Clinton Nude,” that Senator Clinton lacks the attributes of serious leadership so essential for America at this pivotal time in her history. It seems the Clintons agree with me, for on their official campaign website today, the lead item does not relate to any serious or important issue. The most vital question posed on the Clinton campaign website is not the debacle in Iraq, dangerous nuclear proliferation that might give Osama bin Laden the atom bomb, or troubling economic trends that could spell economic catastrophe. No sir, no mam,it seems the highest priority issue Hillary Clinton wants us to focus on in her “conversation” with America is, yes, helping her choose her official campaign song!

No better metaphor can exist to display the cynicism of the Clintons, how they are hoping and praying that the 2008 presidential election will be as mired in trivialities and nonsensical matters as previous ones. So, instead of a persuasive exposition on grand strategy and macro-economics, Hillary Clinton speaks to us in a video on her website and YouTube about how we all need to advise her if her campaign song should be a selection from U-2 or the Dixie Chicks, among others. She promises not to sing the song, unless she wins (her words!). My, with inspired leadership like that, maybe Hillary Clinton really is the most qualified presidential candidate, but only in an indie film about the downfall of American politics.

Hillary Clinton Biography

As Hillary Clinton being presidential frontrunner becomes more solidified, several new biographies on her imperial majesty are due from the printers. There are many Hillary tomes already in print. Many are praising her, undoubtedly written by pro-Clinton partisans. There are also the more venomous books, emanating from the “vast right-wing conspiracy” of Hillary’s televised imagination. Then there is my own book, which is somewhat different.

“Hillary Clinton Nude:Naked Ambition, Hillary Clinton And America’s Demise” is, as the title suggests, highly critical of Senator Clinton. However, what distinguishes my work from other anti-Hillary biographies is that I’m not a member of the right-wing conspiracy. In fact, I believe there are excellent non-partisan reasons to reject Hillary Clinton as the inevitable 44th president. In a nutshell, I don’t believe she has the credentials, experience and moral credibility to successfully lead the nation through the immense challenges that await. I think those who are concerned about what a second Clinton presidency would do to the United States, irrespective of their ideological persuasion, will find much to reflect on in “Hillary Clinton Nude.” The naked truth about Hillary Clinton, exposed to the light of day.

Bill Clinton Does A Propaganda Video For Hillary

1 comment May 15th, 2007

Now making the rounds on YouTube, Hillary Clinton’s political strategist-in-chief, and also husband, has done the voice -over on a propaganda piece testifying to the exceptional merit of his wife. Some people may actually consider Bill Clinton an “objective” reference on the qualities of Hillary Clinton and her suitability for the presidency. However, more sophisticated observers will derive a differenet finding from this video.

Bill Clinton is reading lines, put together by skilled script writers. In effect, the 42nd president is fulfilling the role of an actor, in a purely theatrical and contrived piece of propaganda. Even the soft, mellow background music has a manufactured quality about it. The gist of the propaganda message is this: Hillary Clinton is the most qualified presidential candidate because she has devoted her life to serving the poor and women, sacrificing financial gain, and besides, the whole world loves and respects her.

Alright, time out. When Hillary Clinton gladly accepted an eight million dollar publisher’s advance for her supposed memoirs, which were actually ghost-written by a team of writers, was that an example of Senator Clinton forgoing more lucrative opportunities in the furtherance of her commitment to public service? Or, when she apparently took advantage of her husband being Governor of Arkansas in receiving help from a “freind” of the family, to help her gain a 10,000 percent profit on her commodity futures investment in only ten months, was this another example of her public service creedo, and we can just discount that this family friend was tied to a major company receiving favorable consideration from Governor Bill Clinton?

Of course, I am confusing things with logic. On the other hand, Bill Clinton’s pro-Hillary video is a well-orchestrated effort by the Clinton political machine to muddy the waters of thoughful reason, hoping as many Amercians as are required for Hillary Clinton’s election to the presidency will forfeit reason and be driven to the polls by superficiality.

The balderdash that emanated from the Bill Clinton propaganda video merely hints at the theatrics American voters will be subjected to over the next 18 months.
