Hillary Solidifies Lead Over Democratic Rivals

June 29th, 2007

Watching the Democratic candidates forum broadcast last night form Howard University, I was really floored with how inept Hillary Clinton’s rivals are within her own party. Whatever one may think of her, there is no doubt that Hillary is highly disciplined, focused and strategic in her pursuit of presidential power. The large group of men opposing her for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination seemed almost impotent in comparison with the tough, cogent and concise Hillary Clinton that effectively dominated the forum. While most of her male rivals stumbled and broke the rules on limiting responses to as little as thirty seconds, while mouthing oratorical nonsense, Hillary Clinton kept within the time constraints, and gave answers that one may not have liked, but which were expertly tailored to the politics of her target audience. She even received more cheers than Barack Obama from the largely African-American audience at Howard University.

What does this all mean? Exactly what this blog has been saying all along. Hillary Rodham Clinton has a massive superiority in the race for her party’s nomination, and the supposed “threat” from Barack Obama has been largely invented by the media. Senator Clinton’s performance during the debate, and the lackluster presence from her rivals, illustrates how solidified Hillary’s lead is in the presidential contest. Combined with her staggering superiority in collecting endorsements from leading Democratic Party leaders, it again appears that everything is going according to plan. A plan that both Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton have conceived in their goal of having a second Clinton administration succeed the second Bush administration. In other words, American democracy at work.

When you have clowns as your rivals, no wonder that Hillary Clinton is ahead in the polls.
